BII organizes a photo contest which is open for journalists/photojournalists of printing media (including newspaper, magazine, journal and tabloid distributed in Indonesia) and of electronic media (news agency/portal). Titled “BII Photo Contest 2010,” it requires participants to send maximally three photos which have already been published in media from January 1 to November 12, 2010.
Last year, this event had been so successful, thus, this year they have extended the race from four to six stages, taken hundreds of the joining cyclists all over the world to over 551.7 kilometers, from Padang to Singkarak Lake.
The competition wants you to describe what city life is like. No matter what sort of camera you have, you should picture the challenges of an increasingly urban world.
“Me” here means either you, your friends, your community or the models in your photo. While “My O” is a symbol that portrays your identity; it can be your world, expression, activity, hobby, etc.
This year, the prizes include travel adventures, photographic equipments, photography tuition and international exposure for your photography.
