Fotografer.net's 7th Anniversary
FN (Fotografer.net) celebrated its 7th anniversary on December 30, 2009. FNers (FN members) made a night of it by both originating and attending a small party at Galeri Café, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cikini, Central Jakarta. Kompas.com was giving away a tart with a number-seven candle on top of it. Besides this beautiful candle-lighted tart, John Tefon also contributed three of his digital imaging CDs, Roy Fadly gave away seven Visico filters, Edi "Singomoto" Santoso presented five of his albums and FN handed out some 2010 calendars and t-shirts. All of these gifts were presented to FNers that had gathered at the café from 06:30 pm (local time).
This event was initiated by FNers' affectionate goodwill; this has become the thing that supports FN until today and that makes FN capable of blowing its number-seven candle. As of the upcoming candles, everyone wishes that their lights will shine brighter to enlighten much greater works of photography.

"Beauty Santa" Hunting: Exceeding the Quota
The "Beauty Santa" hunting by IDP seemed to be very interesting since the participants exceeded the quota. The number of participant was bigger than the committee had predicted. This unique concept was probably what made the event so interesting, and moreover, the spot that was chosen could apparently grab the participants' interest. There were more or less 60 people participated, photographing the beauty of Talaga Cikeas, Sentul, on December 19.
"Beauty Santa" invited its participants to take photos of Christmas' most famous icon, Santa Claus. Interestingly, these Santas were with different gender; they were female. These beautiful models were wearing Santa Claus' minimally-designed costumes. Established from 08:00am-03:00pm (local time), this event could also attract participants from Lampung (Sumatra) and Bali. Aditya T. Birawa
