Two New Panasonic Lumix DMCs: ZS7 Vs ZS5
Two new Panasonic Lumix DMCs —ZS7 and ZS5— are apparently having the same 12-MP sensor and a Leica lens with 12x optical zoom. However, they will be definitely not alike one another.
The ZS7 features a built-in GPS receiver, geotagging, both the AVCHD Lite and QuickTime Motion JPEG video compressions, mini HDMI connector and is available in four color choices (black, silver, red and blue variants). The ZS5 does not have all of those features, except the second video compression and black and silver color choice. However, ZS5's battery can stay 10% longer than the ZS7, and it has a built-in memory with a bigger capacity (ZS5 loads 40MB, while ZS7 15MB).
