The London 2012 Summer Olympics has just ended. The closing ceremony, which offered awesome stage performances as well as huge fireworks, has just been held on Sunday (8/12) evening. Here are several published photographs from the closing ceremony, which included performances of world-renowned British musicians from different eras and styles—including Annie Lennox, Spice Girls, The Pet Shop Boys, and even Queen guitarist Brian May.

The countries sitting on the three top ranks (by total medal count) are the US (104 medals—46 gold, 29 silver, 29 bronze), followed by China on the second rank (87 medals—38 gold, 27 silver, 22 bronze), while the third place belongs to Great Britain with 65 medals (29 gold, 17 silver, 19 bronze).
