Partnering with a number of celebrity photographers, The Associated Press has just launched a Invision, a photography agency which aims to provide “inside access to the entertainment industry”.
Established by partnership with various celebrity photographers— Evan Agostini, Jon Furniss, Chris Pizzello, Casey Rogers, Matt Sayles, John Shearer, Jordan Strauss, and Todd Williamson—Invision will give its photographers exclusive access to cover most events or shows the customers want—from the red carpet at awarding events, film premieres, to fashion shows.
Dan Becker, Managing Director of Invision, stated, “Invision creates an agency that combines top-class entertainment imagery and a roster of leading industry photographers with the unmatched global footprint distribution of the Associated Press.”
Meanwhile, Fernando Ferre—Vice President of Associated Press Images—said, “We see a lot of opportunity in the commercial entertainment photo space and intend to help our customers by moving into it.” In addition, Invision’s photographers’ works will be available and can be accessed through Associated Press Images.
