Meanwhile Nikon has also announced that the total production of Nikkor lenses for interchangeable lens cameras has reached the 70 millions in June 2012. In a press release, Nikon said: “Nikkor has become synonymous with quality DSLR lenses, and is one of the biggest brands out there. It has always been at the forefront of technology, releasing the world’s first lens to incorporate aspherical lens elements in 1968.”

Both lenses ensure outstanding performance and excellent image quality, either for capturing still images or HD videos.
The two lenses guarantees sharp focus with dramatic depth of field. Both are also built in with Nikon’s acclaimed Vibration Reduction technology as well as two focus modes, manual-priority mode, and Nikon’s Silent Wave Motor (SWM) to deliver fast, accurate and quite autofocusing.
Both lenses ensure sharp, blur-free images when used handheld or in low light condition. Also, they are equipped with Nikon’s Super Integrated Coating (SIC) which promises brilliant color reproduction and color consistency while also reduces flaring.
