Nikon P510: Compact Camera with the Highest Zoom Ever
Renewing the Nikon Coolpix P series, Nikon Corporation announced the new Coolpix P510, which comes with the super-zoom ability. Offering a stunning 42x optical zoom, this is the highest zoom ratio ever built in a compact camera.
The 42x zoom means that the camera, in 35mm terms, provides a 24mm wide-angle view to a 1000mm telephoto view. Besides, the Coolpix P510 also boasts a 16.1 MP image sensor that comes along with several other interesting features, including a 3-inch LCD screen, 1080p video recording ability, GPS setting, and 5fps continuous shooting mode.
The new product will start shipping by the end of this month at a suggested retail price of US$430.
