Rumors on Canon EOS 5D Mark III

It’s been more than three years since Canon 5D Mark II was launched in the last quarter of 2008, and, until today, still we do not see its successor. Rumors, however, began to spread in the air yesterday that 5D Mark III had been talked about.

It is rumored that 5D Mark III gets GPS related certification, no mention of what that certification was called. It was also said the camera doesn’t have a high number of autofocus points compared to the 7D or 1D series bodies.

Canonrumors.com also conveys a prototype having eye-controled autofocus and that the camera would sport a 30+ megapixel file. The capability of 5 fps (frames per second) is mentioned as well.

Just rumors, right? So, wait and see.
