iConvert Scanner: Hard Copies to Digital Documents on iPad
Being highly popular these days, iPad (1 or 2 series) are being used more in workplace setting, Brookstone is now improving the usage of this device by releasing iConvert for iPad. Users can now make use of the accessories with an iPad to easily, quickly scan hard copies and convert them into digital documents.
Comes as a feeder slot, users will only need to slot an iPad into the dock on the top of the iConvert Scanner. After activating the iConvert application, they can start scanning hard copies, which will instantly appear on the iPad’s display. The digital version of the scanned copies can later be saved as JPEG files in the iPad’s photo library.
Better still, the feeder lot can be used to scan documents of various width sizes—from 2 to 8.5 inches (equivalent to 5 to 21.6 cm) with a scanning resolution of up to 300dpi. The iConvert Scanner also offers a lightweight, handy design to let users easily transport the device from one place to another. The portable design is also supported by a battery-powered energy source.
As Brookstone is currently working on the device, the iConvert Scanner will start shipping from February at a suggested price of US$149.99 (about Rp1,4 million). The iConvert application will be available as free download from the App Store.
