Olympus is rumored to develop and launch the retro-styled camera, which supposed to be named the Olympus OM-D. It is predicted to be built with a 16MP resolution and a 1.44M dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) in replacement to the pentaprism built in actual SLRs.
Designed in resemblance to the classic Olympus OM series, the OM-D will appear in a retro style supported by weather-sealed magnesium body. The camera is supposed to be 121mm wide and weigh 425g.
