Tamron’s First High-power Zoom Lens for Sony’s NEX-series

Represented by Morio Ono, President & CEO, Tamron introduced its new lens—the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III** VC or also called as Model B011. It is the first high-power zoom lens designed for the Sony E-mount of the NEX interchangeable mirrorless camera series.

Lightweight and compact, the B011 weighs only 460g with a 62mm filter. Built in with Tamron’s trusted Vibration Compensation (VC) technology, the lens ensures easy handheld shooting. Its zoom system covers a range from 18mm wide angle to 200 full telephoto.

Being a high-power zoom lens, the B011 offers new features including the stepping motor adopted for the AF drive for faster and quieter autofocusing. As it is specially designed for Sony’s NEX series, the lens comes in a matching design with metallic lens barrel exterior in two colors—black and silver.
