World’s Smallest Flash from Nikon

Nikon has recently released the Speedlight SB-N5, having an Automatic Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) and series circuitry which supports all Interchangeable lens format cameras with multi accessory ports. These are the key features:

• SB-N5 includes a capture illuminator in the form of white LED for Motion Snapshot and Smart Photo Selector.
• Bounce angle: Rotated 90 degrees up and 180 degrees left and right for fully-featured bounce flash.
• Flash shooting distance range: 0.6m-20m (depends on the ISO setting)
• Guide number: 8.5 [ISO 100, m, 20°C] , 12 [ISO 200, m, 20°C]

This is now touted as the world’s smallest flash unit with bounce flash and LED function that brings to life images just as you imagine them. Designed for the new Nikon 1 Camera system, the device has a flash head that can be rotated 90 to 180 degrees.
