Motorola Photon 4G, the Smartphone for Business & Advanced Photography
Later this month, Motorola is to launch the debut of Motorola Photon 4G—its first WiMax smartphone. Addressed mainly for businessmen, the Photon 4G is powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor each running at 1GHz, 1GB RAM, and comes with Android 2.3(Gingerbread) pre-installed.
However, the smartphone also offers advanced photographic features. It has an 8 MP camera for basic photography shoots, a front-facing VGA camera to support vide, and a dual-LED flash rear camera wth dedicated camera button for capturing 720p HD video. It also has a 16GB onboard memory, which can be expanded to up to 48GB by inserting a 32GB SD memory card. Interestingly, the smartphone also features a kickstand that will switch the 4.3inch qHD touchscreen display to landscape mode, allowing the users to enjoy hands-free viewing.
The Motorola Photon 4G is scheduled to be available from July 31 on Sprint at US$199.99 (Rp 1,7 million).
