Nokia Announced N9 Camera Phone with Carl Zeiss Optical Lens
The leading phone manufacturer, Nokia, has just announced its new camera phone, the Nokia N9. Supported by optics from Carl Zeiss, the Nokia N9 is built in with an 8 MP camera featuring wide-angle lens equivalent to the Carl Zeiss Tessar f/2.2 lens. Designed in one-piece body with a 3.9 inch touch screen covered by scratch-resistant glass, it offers smooth swipes for navigating through the screen.
Impressively, the Nokia N9 provides brilliant photographic features with a 16:9 sensor, dual LED flash, 720p HD video recording ability, and continuous autofocus. The focal length reaches 3.77mm/28mm with a 2.2 aperture, allowing users to shoot better and faster even under poor light. It also allows 4x digital zooming for either capturing photos or recording videos. Digital shutter, touch-to-focus, and exposure lock can all be set by swiping through the curve-designed glass, while the AMOLED screen display also promises bright image viewing.
More good news is that the Nokia N9 is supported by photo editor with “fast non-destructive” tools which included the one-touch autofix, red-eye removal, and Automatic Motion Blur Reduction. Photo/video sharing and connection to the internet is also available along with many other applications and gaming services. You can check more details of the features and specifications on Nokia’s website. Available in three color choices—black, magenta, and cyan, the Nokia N9 is to be available on market soon at the suggested price around US$700.
