Apple’s iPad 3 Coming Soon: New Panel & Doubled Resolution

Just recently after releasing the thinner and smaller tablet, the iPad 2, Apple is now rumored to design the iPad 3 as its next project. Reported to be built with enhancements better than the now existing iPad 2, the upcoming iPad 3 will feature new panel and doubled resolution.

Still bearing the 9.7-inch IPS panel display, the iPad 3 is reported to be built in with FFS (fringe-field switching) technology, which enables wider viewing angle and clearer image quality under bright sunlight. The IPS/FFS display—which Apple has released under the name Retina Display—will feature a doubled resolution of 2048×1536, 2hich is 5-6 times higher than the iPad 2. Combined, the Retina Display and higher resolution will provide more excellent image quality and anti-reflection viewing in daylight.

As it is reported that Apple has begun certifying components for the upcoming iPad 3, the device is expected to be released next year. appleinsider.com
