FN Grand Hunting with Models, Helicopters, Aircraft & Ferrari

Last Sunday (7/25), Fotografer.net (FN) made up a hunting that was totally not ordinary. The event was called “Hunting Akbar (Grand Hunting) FN 2010.” So, why was it not ordinary?

FN chose a venue rarely used as a hunting spot — the Air Police’s hangar in Pondok Cabe, Jakarta. The police’s helicopters and aircraft were used as photo properties, plus a Ferrari. From 380 registered participants, 360 of them were at the venue, photographing fifteen models. Kennova, one of the models who posed with the Ferrari, had the most number of photographers. Nevertheless, all models and photographers were so enthusiastically photographing and being photographed. They expressed and explored anything they had in mind, from costumes, posing styles, properties and moments.

Palty O. Silalahi, one of the FN members who was also a person in charge (PIC), said, “It was a great pleasure that I could accommodate both the FN members and non-members who were participating this event, either the photography (hunting) itself, properties, time and on-the-spot duties.”

Palty also explained that all the appointed committee members, from the ones on the registration desk, hunting spots PICs, to LOs, had been working shoulder to shoulder gladly. “Though it was very hot, we did a very great job,” said he.

This event was upheld from 9 am to 3:30 pm (local time), and nothing was in the rundown except hunting. After this, any participants can submit their photographs to fotografer.net until August 21, because FN will grant some prizes to photographers with the best photographs — based on the photograph’s creativity and basic photography techniques. The winners will be announced at the FN’s site on August 23.
