2mm-metal-cased USB Flash Drive

Shielded inside of a 2mm casing and sealed with wear-resistant screw threads and a rubber O-ring, Lacie’s XtremKey is watertight up to 100 meters. It is resistant to 5-meter drops, fierce heat and bitter cold; holds up in any environment, from +200°C to -50°.
What is more, this USB flash drive is constructed with zamac, a metal alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper; makes it so strong that it can withstand the pressure of a 10-ton truck.
Some tests have been performed to prove its durability, such as to bring it to a heat test at 200°C for three minutes, cold test at -50° for twelve hours and drop test at five meters for five times. Here is the video:
Equipped with the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface, it speeds up to 30MB/s (write) and 40MB/s (read). With a 2-year limited warranty, it will be available in August in capacities from 8GB to 64GB through the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Corner and LaCie Reseller+ starting at £42.99.
